LaTonya “Toni” Dawson is the heart and visionary force behind Phoenix Legacy Holdings, Inc. Her journey into real estate and housing solutions didn’t begin with a title, a corporate position, or a traditional path — it began with lived experience, intuition, and a deep understanding of how shifts in the economy impact everyday people.

Toni’s interest in real estate sparked in the early 1990s, inspired by late-night investment educators and training programs that stirred something inside her long before she ever imagined launching a company. That early curiosity grew into hands-on experience during the 2008 housing market crash, one of the most challenging periods in modern real estate. During that time, Toni supported multiple home sales, coordinated with homeowners navigating uncertainty, and witnessed firsthand how quickly the housing landscape can change for both owners and renters.

Those experiences shaped her perspective in a unique way. She saw not just properties, but people — families trying to adjust to shifting markets, individuals juggling the rising cost of living, and homeowners doing their best to maintain stability while everything around them felt unpredictable.
